O'Reilly selected as Presidential Scholars semifinalist

Dan O'ReillyHenry Sibley High School senior Dan O’Reilly has been selected as a semifinalist for the 2017 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. From nearly 3.5 million graduating high school seniors, more than 5,100 students were identified as candidates in the program, and just 723 semifinalists have been selected from across the country.

The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is one of the most distinguished honors given to graduating high school students. Scholars are selected on the basis of their academic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in the community and school activities.

U.S. Presidential Scholars Program finalists will be announced in May.  Read more about Dan O’Reilly’s accomplishments below.

Dan plans to attend Yale University this fall. He is the son of Sheila and Patrick O’Reilly of West St. Paul.
