School District 197 COVID-19 Dashboard
School District 197 is working closely with the Minnesota Department of Health for contract tracing and notifications.We are tracking the number of COVID-19 cases present in the district. The table below shows current numbers of students and staff members reporting COVID-19. The table will be updated every week on Friday. Please note that the table may not include some cases of students or staff members who were not at school during the time they were contagious.

Schools with 5 or More Cases
Please click here for a list of school buildings in Minnesota that have reported 5 or more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in students or staff who were in the building while infectious during a two-week reporting period. (Scroll down to "Facilities with Cases & Exposures"). This list is updated weekly on Thursdays.
Currently, Henry Sibley High School and Heritage E-STEM Magnet School are listed as 5 or more cases.
Process for Individual Notifications
School District 197 will ensure that all who are directly affected are appropriately notified in accordance with health department guidelines and privacy laws. A close contact notification and request to quarantine will be sent to all identified close contacts. A general notification of a positive case in the building will be sent to: all building staff (including traveling and classified staff members) and families of all students attending the same school.
