Heritage and Friendly Hills middle schools work together to give students a wonderful educational experience outside of the classroom.

Participation in activities and athletics plays an important role in the academic, social and emotional growth and development of students. Research shows that students who are involved in activities do better in school and have a higher grade point average.

Furthermore, involvement in activities builds character, increases self-confidence, relieves tension, generates school pride and a sense of community, and because they nurture a feeling of belonging, involvement in activities makes students want to achieve.
