NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS

School District 197 serves seven nonpublic schools within the District boundaries.  They include:

  • Community of Saints
  • Convent of Visitation School
  • Crown of Life School
  • St. Croix Lutheran 
  • St. Joseph's School
  • St. Thomas Academy
  • Trinity Lone Oak

The district provides nursing, school counselor, and special education services as well as textbook allocations to the nonpublic schools.  Nonpublic schools can also access their proportionate share of the District's Title Federal dollars.

HOMESCHOOLING

Homeschooling is a commitment of time, resources, and planning. It is suggested that parents and guardians research this option before a decision to homeschool is made.

Please view the information below regarding homeschooling your child(ren). The Non-accredited, Nonpublic School Full Report or the Letter of Intent to Continue to Provide Instruction forms are due back to our district office by October 1 of each year. The Student Report for Aids to Nonpublic Students is also due in the district office by October 1 of each year.
