I've been a part of the SAC Team since 2011. I enjoy getting to know all of the kids and watching them learn and grow! I'm a graduate of the U of M, live in West St. Paul with my husband Len, and spend as much time as I can with my daughter Alex and her family. In my spare time I like to go on walks, read dance and play with my cat Max@

I am starting my 7th year in the district and my 5th at School Age Care. In the warm months I enjoy golfing and going to the lake and during the winter I like to play games and read. I look forward to another great year at Mendota!

I've worked at ISD 197 for 13 years, 9 of which I have worked for SAC. I have 3 kids, 4 grandkids and a 6 year old rescue dog named Remedy. My favorite food is strawberry poppy seed salad with chicken. I love socializing with people (especially if they have a dog with them). I find word search books relaxing and am always challenging myself with DIY projects.

I've been working for SAC for seven years and I still enjoy working with the kiddos! My two sons went to school in this district. I love to read, especially historical novels. I also enjoy seeing movies with my husband. I started to self teach myself playing the piano. I've never done that before so it is very challenging but I am having fun!

I've been working with the school district for over 20 years now. I work at Mendota during the school day as a special education paraprofessional as well as at SAC. I enjoy activities where I can move around and be active and teaching the children new things. I have 26 year old twins, a boy and a girl.

Hi. I am Chris Bolchen and I am the Inclusion Manager for District 197's SAC program. I have worked in the district since 2014 and have served in the roles of site supervisor at Mendota Elementary and also as a school year and summer special education paraprofessional. Before coming to SAC I was a language arts teach for nine years in Minneapolis and St. Paul.  As an educator and parent I am passionate about meeting the needs of children of all abilities and helping to provide a safe, equitable and engaging environment for them to be part of during our before and after school and summer programs.  In my spare time I enjoy being with family, being outdoors, biking, hiking and canoeing. I love music, campfires, good food and my many pets.
