CAPS Computer Science Internship

This year, high school students in the TriDistrict Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) Computer Science Program are interning at the Two Rivers High School Technology Department through May to fulfill a course requirement. The internship exposes students to the experiences of working in a real technology department. Students also complete professional certifications/training. The CAPS program has worked with Metro State University to get the interns free access to the level 1 Google IT Certification which is recognized by many major companies and organizations. The technology department has also provided them with the Student Repair Academy Certification which focuses on computer hardware, problem diagnosis and repair. Students are currently working on their certifications and rebuilding broken, out-of-warranty student-used Chromebooks! Learn more about TriDistrict CAPS here.
