
Fall Activities Recap 2025

Two Rivers wrapped up another outstanding fall season! With 452 student-athletes and 47 activities participants, our students showed just how engaged, dedicated, and involved they are. Highlights include:

Six sports teams finished in the top three in the Metro East Conference, with two earning Conference Championships: Girls Tennis (1st), Boys Cross Country (1st), Girls Cross Country (2nd), Volleyball (2nd), Girls Soccer (3rd), Boys Soccer (3rd), Girls Swim/Dive (4th), and Football (5th)
- Student-athletes had an average team GPA of 3.35, reflecting strong achievement both on and off the field
- 137 different home games/events over an 11 week span between August 18-November 7— including the Section Girls Swim and Dive Tournament — were held on the Two Rivers campus
Debate will compete at the State Tournament December 5-6 — good luck! Recent highlights include:
- Eastview Lightning Classic Tournament Owen Hackett and Lucas West finished in eighth place in the Varsity Division. Emma Lehet was the eighth best individual speaker.
Fall Play - Daddy’s Girl
A great performance by our 20 cast members led by Director Erica Ramisch and Assistant Director Mary Beth Townsend. Over 650 spectators took in the show over the weekend of November 13-15.
Cross Country (Boys) finished as Section Champions and qualified for the MSHSL State Tournament where they placed fifth as a team. Niah Fernandes (12), Hakkon Hanson (12), George Dahlager (12), Max Molinaro (10), Roy Buckner (10), Riley Tilander (12), Abraham Cortes Mera (12), Keefer Hedfors (12), and Avery Simmons (12) competed at State. Max Molinaro was named MEC Boys XC Runner of the Year, Section Champion, and placed sixth at the MSHSL State Boys Cross Country Meet. Haakon Hanson, Niah Fernandes, George Dahlager, Riley Tillander, Max Molinero, Abraham Cortes Mera, and Roy Buckner were named All Conference.
Cross Country (Girls) finished second in the Metro East Conference with Josie Miller and Charlotte Chandler qualifying for the MSHSL State Girls Cross Country Meet. Charlotte Chandler (12), Josie Miller (10), Ella Hoffman (11) were named All Conference.
Dakota Hawks Adapted Soccer athletes were crowned MSHSL State Champions. Members of the team from Two Rivers include Ryan Errigo, Addie Smith, Amando Barrientos-Galeana, John McHugh, and Oran Hill. Oran Hill (10) was named to the All Tournament Team at MSHSL CI Soccer State Tournament.
Football finished their season as Section Runnerup falling to St. Thomas Academy in the championship game. Cole Altavilla (12), Drew Altavilla (12), Jacion Jones (12) were named All Conference.
Swim and Dive (Girls) placed fourth in their conference. Senior, Sada Gustafson earned Section Champion and placed fourth at the MSHSL State Girls Diving Tournament. Sada Gustafson (12), Amina Savoie (11), Lila Gaboury (9), Isabel Stiner (11), Sophia Carney (10) were named All Conference.
Soccer (Boys) placed third in the Metro East Conference — Abel Alemu (12) was named Second Team All State. Corbin Challifour (12), Abel Alemu (12), Diego Aguilar-Villa (12), Matiyas Telahun (11) were named All Conference.
Soccer (Girls) placed third in the Metro East Conference. Faye Leitner (12), Madeline Flynn (10), Michaela Smith (11), Hazel Halverson (11) were named All Conference.
Tennis (Girls) earned Metro East Conference Champions for the first time. Seniors Olivia Kanavati and Amelie Williams competed as a doubles team at the State Tournament. Olivia Kanavati (12), Bryn Christopherson (12), Amelie Williams (12), Erica Eckmann (10) were named All Conference. Clara Rebhan (11) was named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Volleyball finished second in the Metro East Conference with Sophia Amundson (12), Nevaeh Martin (11), Dani Shields (12) earning All Conference.
