Two Rivers High School Earns Top 5% Ranking
Published May 2024
Two Rivers High School has again secured a spot on this year's U.S. News & World Report's Best High Schools list. Of 896 high schools in Minnesota, Two Rivers has ranked in the top 5% based on test scores, access to and participation in college-level learning, and more. Even more exciting, this year's ranking is an improvement from last year's top 10% spot!
We're proud of our progress in increasing the number of seniors taking Advanced Placement (AP) tests, increasing the number of seniors passing AP tests, improving our Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) reading scores, and supporting all students in reaching their full potential.
"This achievement directly reflects the dedication of our staff, the hard work of our students, and the support of our families and community," shared Principal Al Johnson. "We also believe this recognition extends beyond Two Rivers High School. It is a testament to the strong educational foundation built early at our Early Learning Center and elementary schools and nurtured throughout a student's journey. Finally, we recognize that our staff and students are far more than test scores. Every day, we witness the countless remarkable qualities that make our Warriors so exceptional."
We are incredibly grateful for our school community and are committed to continuing to serve our students in new and innovative ways.
