Students Honor Veterans Across District

Every year for Veterans Day, students across the District honor Veterans in many ways—from school-wide assemblies hosting District Veteran families and community members to students preparing songs, poems, and speeches. Every year, Friendly Hills Middle School sixth graders create handwritten messages of gratitude for our local VFW, and a new tradition at Pilot Knob included designing coffee cup sleeves for a local military base coffee shop.
